Pathfinder & Adventurer Sabbath

On Saturday, March 14, our church held its annual Pathfinder and Adventurer Sabbath. Even though the weekend brought snowy weather to the area, the spirit of the day was warm and encouraging. Children, young adults, church members, and guests all came together to celebrate the ministries that help guide and mentor our young people.

The Pathfinder and Adventurer programs are designed to help children grow in faith, character, and service. Through activities, learning opportunities, and community involvement, these programs encourage young people to develop leadership skills, build friendships, and strengthen their relationship with God. The Pathfinder Club typically serves youth ages 10–15, while the Adventurer Club focuses on children ages 4–9.

Despite the snowy conditions, we were blessed with an excellent turnout. Many families made the effort to attend, and it was wonderful to see the church filled with children in uniform, supportive parents, and visitors from the community. The presence of so many faces in the congregation added to the joy of the day and reminded us how important youth ministries are to the life of the church.

Events like Pathfinder and Adventurer Sabbath highlight the dedication of our volunteers and leaders who work throughout the year to mentor and support our youth. Their time and commitment help create a positive environment where children can learn, grow, and serve others.

We are grateful to everyone who participated and helped make the day a success. Even with snow on the ground, the fellowship, enthusiasm, and spirit of service made Pathfinder and Adventurer Sabbath a truly special occasion.
