Vacation Bible School 2025 – “RESCUED: Safe in Jesus”

What an amazing week! From July 28 to 31, the Renton Seventh-day Adventist Church was bursting with energy, laughter, and the sound of kids singing about Jesus. Our four-day Vacation Bible School brought families together for an unforgettable adventure built around this year’s theme: “RESCUED: Safe in Jesus.”

Kids learned powerful truths from the Bible — stories of people who were rescued by God in tough situations. They discovered that just like Daniel in the lions’ den and the disciples in the storm, Jesus is always with us and keeps us safe no matter what we face.

Each night began with upbeat music, fun motions, and a welcoming crowd of volunteers cheering the kids on. From there, the excitement kept going with:

  • Bible Adventures: Hands-on storytelling that made Scripture come alive.

  • Creative Crafts: Memorable take-home projects that reinforced the nightly lessons.

  • Games and Challenges: High-energy activities that had kids laughing, cheering, and learning teamwork.

  • Tasty Snacks: A chance to relax and refuel while making new friends.

It took a team of dedicated volunteers — from greeters to media specialists to snack coordinators — to make this week special. Their smiles, patience, and creativity helped kids feel safe, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus.

Vacation Bible School isn’t just an event; it’s a highlight of our church calendar and a way to reach out to families in our community.
