Church Leaders Re-Energized at Propel Conference

Several members of the Renton Seventh-day Adventist Church leadership team had the privilege of attending the Propel Conference, held April 27–30, 2025, at the Puyallup Adventist Church. This four-day event was a deeply inspiring and revitalizing experience, filled with worship, fellowship, and practical training aimed at helping churches grow and thrive in today’s world.

Each day, the morning and evening large group sessions began with uplifting worship sessions, bringing together hundreds of leaders and members from across the Northwest, plus other members from across the United States, for prayer, praise, and spiritual renewal. These moments grounded us in God’s presence and set the tone for everything that followed.

Throughout the conference, we heard from dynamic speakers who shared powerful messages on mission, innovation, and leadership. Their stories, strategies, and biblical insights helped us see new possibilities for ministry in our local church and community.

On Monday and Tuesday, we participated in four breakout sessions (focused on four tracks) designed to provide hands-on tools and ideas for real-world church growth. These focus tracks included:

  • Proclamational Evangelism – Exploring effective ways to boldly share God’s Word through preaching and public outreach.
  • Relational Evangelism – Learning to build authentic, lasting relationships that lead people to Christ.
  • Church Revitalization – Understanding what it takes to renew and re-energize a church that may be struggling or plateaued.
  • Digital Evangelism – Gaining insight into online platforms and tools that can expand our reach in the digital age.

Each session left us with fresh ideas, renewed purpose, and a deep sense of encouragement. We returned to Renton filled with enthusiasm and ready to apply what we learned in our local ministry efforts.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to attend Propel and are excited to see how God will continue to move in our church as we put these principles into action.
