The Cure for “I” Disease (Ephesians 4:7-8)

Pastor Randy Maxwell, March 4, 2017
Part of the Under New Management series, preached at a Divine service

Love is the lens through which God intended us to see all of life, and stewardship is the frame. Stewardship is God's "I" exam. Through its lenses we see how big or small the “I” is in my life. If I am bigger than the I AM, then I am in big trouble! I am also delusional. How I handle my talents--my time, temple, and treasure--reveals how good or bad my “I” sight really is..

Ephesians 4:7-8

But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore it says,

“When he ascended on high he led a host of captives,
and he gave gifts to men.” (ESV)
